Amanda Yang is Co-Head of Clean and Renewable Energy at Meta. She leads the team that secures clean energy solutions to support Meta’s global operations with 100% clean and renewable energy, which Meta has maintained since 2020. Globally, Meta has contracted over 15GW of new clean energy in partnership with project developers and local utilities, adding projects across six countries and 27 U.S. states. Prior to joining Meta, Amanda held various positions at battery energy storage company Eos Energy Storage, solar developer Recurrent Energy, and Southern California Edison. Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Pomona College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
