Sam's background has always been centered around sustainable and clean energy technology. With degrees in Chemical and Nuclear Engineering, Sam has extensive experience in biofuels, solar, and advanced nuclear power. After publications and patents in the biofuel space, Sam found a renewed passion for the small modular nuclear reactor industry and started his career at Oklo in 2016 as a reactor engineer designing radiation shielding systems and protection programs. As an early employee at Oklo, many additional responsibilities have been taken on including assisting in leading Oklo's Business Development efforts and the deployment of Oklo's flagship product, the Aurora Powerhouse.
