There has been growing push by mainstream media, as well as various stakeholder groups, to question whether corporate GHG reduction practices, including the use of unbundled RECs are having any real impact on GHG reductions. Additionality, and the actual emissions impact from projects, are a valid concern, and this has become a real risk for corporates. GHG Protocol standards are in the process of being adjusted, but what can Corporate Buyers do in the meantime to protect against this risk?
