Jennifer Solomon currently serves as Executive Director, Regulatory and Legislative Affairs at NextEra Energy Resources. In this role, Jennifer manages NextEra's policy strategy and advocacy to support the development of generation and transmission assets in the MISO, SPP, and CAISO regions. This includes advocating for policy solutions in RTO/ISO stakeholder processes, collaborating with staff and other stakeholders, supporting NextEra generation and transmission project development teams, coordinating with NextEra’s federal affairs team on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) engagement, and developing policy strategy.

Previously, Jennifer served as Chief of Staff to the General Counsel at Constellation Energy and as an assistant general counsel at Exelon Corporation. She began her career as an attorney in the General Counsel’s Office at FERC.

Jennifer holds a law degree from Fordham Law School and a bachelor’s degree in politics from Princeton University. She resides in Falls Church, VA with her husband, two children, and rescue pup.
