Laura leads 3Degrees’ Regulatory Affairs team where she oversees the company’s global policy and regulatory strategy across clean energy, carbon, biogas and transportation markets. She advises on the policy and regulatory dimensions of corporate climate action with a focus on greenhouse gas reporting, carbon reduction strategies and mandatory disclosure requirements. Prior to 3Degrees, Laura worked with the Clean Energy Buyers Association where she led engagement on market design and policy initiatives to expand corporate access to clean energy.
Laura brings more than a decade of experience shaping energy policy across local, state, and federal levels. She previously served at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, where she conducted research and provided policy analysis to support Commissioners in shaping Commission decisions. She later joined the U.S. Department of Energy, where she led the development of the Quadrennial Energy Review, a comprehensive strategy for the nation’s energy infrastructure and policy priorities. She also spearheaded the rollout of a low-income solar installation and workforce training program at GRID Alternatives in Washington, D.C., expanding clean energy access while creating economic opportunities. Laura began her career in political and issue-based community organizing, grounding her policy work in a deep commitment to public engagement and impact.
