Peter is the founder and CEO of Skipping Stone, a global energy consulting firm focused on strategy/implementation, market entry in the U.S. and Japan, and market development of energy transition initiatives.

Peter added to his CEO responsibilities the role of Chief Growth Officer for Tally Group, who recently acquired Skipping Stone. Tally Group is a global energy technology firm.

In his 40+ years in the energy markets Peter has been CEO of a large U.S. retailer, a pan EU technology firm, COO of an energy risk management systems company and many years ago started his energy career as a trader.

In addition to his executive roles, Peter, via his angel fund Capital Sixty, has launched, funded, and served on the board of several energy services companies, such as Renewable Power Direct in the U.S. and Ene Buyer in Japan.

Twelve years ago Peter opened the Skipping Stone Tokyo office prior to the full deregulation of the Japan power market. He has been involved in many aspects of the Japan market design, retail and wholesale market growth, and the booming renewable, BESS, and data center markets.
