Pranav Master is presently a Senior Practice Director for Clean Energy Consulting at CRISIL, a S&P Global Company. He has 17 years of experience across management consulting, strategy & business planning, bid & transaction advisory, feasibility studies, M&A, and policy research.

Within the energy sector, his focus is on New Energies and has developed expertise in renewable energy (RE), green hydrogen, energy storage and electric vehicles.

Pranav has aided infrastructure developers and investors in profitably scaling up their clean energy portfolio, supported energy intensive corporates in their decarbonization journey and advised financial institutions in accelerating sustainable finance and risk management.

In the RE space, Pranav has undertaken training programs for senior bankers, infrastructure funds and independent power producers. Based on his experience, Pranav brings in-depth knowledge of energy markets in terms of policy and regulations, demand and supply dynamics, contractual nuances, cost economics, energy trading as well as risk assessment.

He has experience working across diverse stakeholders and geographies - Ministries, Regulators, Corporates, PE firms, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Multi-lateral Agencies and Banks.

He is also regularly invited as a speaker and panelist in major clean energy conferences/ forums. Pranav has also been actively writing opinion articles in leading newspapers and magazines on diverse topics across the new energies and sustainability.
