Wind and solar projects are producing an increasing amount of low-priced power that’s challenging renewable project economics. This session will uncover the opportunity for flexible demand-side resources like thermal batteries to serve as a reliable offtake for this otherwise low-value power – boosting overall renewable project economics while directly displacing industrial fossil fuel consumption to reduce Scope 1 emissions.
