Mark Pituch serves as Senior Clean Energy Advisor to the United States Department of State. He leads the Department’s efforts to make its power procurements more sustainable as part of the Department’s sustainability team, the Greening Diplomacy Initiative.  His work focuses on assisting the domestic and overseas facilities of the State Department, spread over six continents and 190 countries, in reducing their scope 2 emissions. Prior to his current role, he served overseas in Pakistan and the Philippines and domestically in the State Department’s Bureau of Energy Resources.
