Misti brings deep knowledge of corporate renewable energy procurement. She most recently served as LevelTen’s Vice President of Energy Marketplace, where she was responsible for implementing Marketplace development to support renewable energy transactions to accelerate the clean energy transition. Prior to LevelTen, as the Director of Cleantech Client Management at Schneider Electric, Misti helped Fortune 1000 companies navigate their renewable energy purchases, including advising on long-term, off-site renewable energy power purchase agreements. Before tackling corporate renewable energy procurement, Misti spent almost five years as a lawyer, working with clients on environmental, air quality, energy and land use issues. She also worked as a consultant, focusing on risk analyses and environmental contamination and remediation. Misti is dedicated to teaching and mentoring in the industry. At the University of Colorado Boulder, Misti served as a graduate instructor and capstone advisor while mentoring young women looking to enter the renewable energy industry. Misti holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Washington and University of California, Los Angeles, as well as a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Law with a degree certification in Environmental Law.
