Candice Blizzard (Power Market & Grid Team Associate, SFOC) has recently joined the climate advocacy space and is working to amplify corporate voices as they push to increase availability and procurement of Renewable Energy in South Korea. A professional history of stakeholder engagement at all levels allows her to identify solutions outside of the established norms by cherry picking best practices from various industries, from academics to Hollywood.

When dealing with government regulations and policy, Ms. Blizzard concentrates on fact-finding, a skill honed at New York University’s School of Journalism, and a push for transparency. Her work and study have taken her around the globe, landing in Korea in 2012 and starting with SFOC late last year.

Solutions for Our Climate is an independent research and advocacy organization founded in 2016, working to align emissions trajectories in Korea and across Asia to be Paris-Agreement compliant. Through a combination of research, communications, litigation, diplomacy, and grassroots organizing, SFOC shifts policymakers, financiers, and businesses to phase out fossil fuels, end their finance, enable the development of genuine renewables, and accelerate industrial decarbonization.
