Scott Bolton is Senior Vice President of Transmission and Market Development at PacifiCorp, an energy company that serves over 2 million customers across a diverse six-state region in the West.
In his role, Scott brings together a diverse team that provides transmission planning and project management, transmission ratemaking, and wholesale market development to support the PacifiCorp system and its customers. His efforts promote the expansion of critical transmission projects, enable the integration and advancement of clean energy, and help achieve regional market and policy solutions for the grid.
Before joining PacifiCorp in 2004, Scott was a congressional staffer for U.S. Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon, working with local officials on regional priorities around federal appropriations, public lands, infrastructure and economic development.
Scott received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Portland State University and an MBA from Marylhurst University.
Scott lives in Portland, where is recognized as a longtime Pacific Northwest business and community leader. When he isn’t working, he enjoys hiking, cooking and hanging out with his wife and their goldendoodle, Rodger.
