Dr. Daniel Willard is Regional Biodiversity Specialist at Ørsted, based in Austin, Texas. He has over 15 years of experience working in environmental economics and biodiversity conservation. Before joining Ørsted, he was most recently Lead Senior Economist at Environmental Defense Fund where he worked with industry, governments, and academics to build an international research program and lead conservation initiatives in the United States, Southeast Asia, and China. Daniel holds PhD and MA degrees in Economics from the University of Washington and a BS in Economics from Virginia Commonwealth University.
