McGee is the Founder and CEO of WattCarbon. Prior to starting WattCarbon, McGee served as the CTO at Recurve. McGee currently sits on the Board of Directors at LF Energy as an elected representative. He led the development of CalTRACK and oversaw the submission of the OpenEEmeter project to LF Energy. More recently, McGee organized the Carbon Data Specification Consortium. Earlier in his career, McGee earned a PhD in Political Science from Syracuse University and earned tenure at Marquette University.
