John is a clean energy executive with two decades’ experience in international business, project and partnership development, strategy, entrepreneurship, and corporate, government, and multilateral engagement. He is currently working with Powerledger, a blockchain-enabled clean energy software developer, leading the expansion of their 24/7 Carbon Free Energy solutions and the development of transparent, efficient, and equitable environmental commodity (REC, EAC, GO), peer-to-peer energy, and flexibility marketplaces in North America. His prior experience includes working with organizations like Tesla, SolarCity, and the UNEP as well as cleantech, circular economy, and sustainability startups and climate-focused non-profits. He holds an MBA, a BFA, and a certificate in Climate and Renewable Energy Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
