Killian leads operations at EnergyTag, a non-profit focused on enabling real-time electricity tracking globally. Alongside the world’s top experts, he led the process of drafting the EnergyTag Standard, which create the Granular Certificate, a robust and widely recognised instrument for hourly energy attribute tracking. The Standard is supported by hundreds of organisations including some of the world leading sustainability players like Google, Microsoft, AES, Clean Air Task Force, Enel Green and Vattenfall . Prior to joining EnergyTag, Killian managed global energy strategy at Air Liquide, one of the world’s largest hydrogen and oxygen producers. There, he worked on large-scale PPAs and time-based electricity sourcing strategies for Green Hydrogen as well as overseeing the group’s Scope 2 carbon accounting efforts. Killian holds an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs in Paris and a Masters degree in Energy Technology from the University of Cambridge.
