Amber Dorner is the Energy Policy Lead at General Motors (GM), working to accelerate the company's transition to an all-electric future. In this role, she is responsible for engaging with policymakers, regulators, and other stakeholders to facilitate charging infrastructure deployment, advance vehicle-grid integration, and secure reliable and affordable power for GM’s manufacturing sites.

Prior to GM, Amber worked in policy at several utilities across the country, including at Con Edison and National Grid, focusing on clean energy enablement, transmission planning, and wholesale market issues. Amber holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and resides in Brooklyn, New York. She serves as Vice Chair on the Board of the Vehicle-Grid Integration Council.
